Hello! I am Reverend Jenny and thank you for considering me to be your officiant. I was ordained as a minister through the Universal Life Church on August 1, 2022. I can legally perform marriage ceremonies and funeral services in the State of Illinois.
I became ordained because I wanted to become a wedding officiant. I am able to offer an alternative, non traditional approach to your wedding ceremony that you may not easily find elsewhere. I would love to include energy work in your wedding ceremony, as well as pagan and other spiritual traditions. I am happy to write up your entire wedding ceremony, or step back and let you take the lead. Invite as many or as few guests as you want, and the wedding ceremony can be any length you want it to be. I'm down for whatever.
I would be honored to officiate your loved one's wake and/or funeral service. Much like my wedding ceremonies, I am able to offer services you may not easily find someplace else. I also offer 100% religious free ceremonies and readings, if pagan or other spiritual readings and rituals would not be welcomed by other family members. Looking for something way cooler than the court house, but still want it to be just the two of you? Elope! Pick a spot just about anywhere within reason (and within the Chicagoland area) and we can make it happen. Don't forget to bring a photographer with! I have recommendations if you need one. Cost is dependent on how far I need to travel.
Mini wedding
$100+
Small weddings are always the most fun! Limited to no more than 75 guests. We will meet a few times to discuss your ceremony and, if needed, a rehearsal. Your ceremony must take place within the general Chicagoland area. Cost is dependent on how far I need to travel.
large wedding
$200+
I am extremely extroverted and love public speaking and would love to officiate your large wedding! No guest limit on this one. We will meet a few times to discuss your ceremony and, if needed, a rehearsal. Your ceremony must take place within the general Chicagoland area. Cost is dependent on how far I need to travel.

All funeral services within the Chicagoland area are a flat rate of $100. I am available to meet beforehand to discuss the service, and I can include a eulogy if needed. I have a B.A. in Journalism that I am happy to put to good use for you.
